This example of real estate photography shows a bright, modern kitchen with clean lines, generous window surfaces and a calm, minimalist design. The aim of this image is to present the space as open, high quality and inviting as possible. Natural daylight plays a central role. The large windows create soft, even illumination that renders materials, colours and proportions in a realistic yet appealing way. A clean, slightly elevated perspective was deliberately chosen to structure the space clearly and align all vertical lines precisely. The camera was mounted securely on a tripod, allowing optimal sharpness across the entire image. By combining multiple exposures, both the bright window areas and interior surfaces can be rendered in detail without blown highlights or blocked shadows. In post production, perspectives were corrected with precision, white balance kept neutral and contrast and clarity applied selectively to give the architecture a calm and refined appearance.

It is precisely these unnoticed moments that make events credible and visually strong.

In event photography I work consciously with available light and supplement it only where technically necessary. This preserves the lighting mood of the venue and keeps the images natural and atmospheric. A wide aperture allows subtle separation between subject and background without losing the context of the event. At the same time, this type of photography requires fast reactions, precise timing and a strong sense for situations. Many decisive moments happen within seconds and cannot be planned.

Professional event photography does not merely document processes, it tells a visual story. It shows encounters, details, gestures and emotions and connects these with overview shots that reveal the setting and scale of the event. A clear visual language, consistent colours and restrained post production ensure that the images remain timeless and versatile.

Vertical top down shots like this are particularly suitable for clearly revealing surfaces, symmetry and structure. Smooth camera movement, precise alignment and stable lighting conditions are essential for keeping the image technically clean and visually clear. At the same time, safety, legal compliance and careful flight planning play a central role in every production.

Aerial imagery does not just provide additional pictures, it delivers real visual information. Especially in real estate photography it enables clear representation of location, surroundings and plot size. Buildings can be shown in spatial context, access routes, neighbourhoods and outdoor areas are presented in an understandable way. Reading waves, anticipating lines and predicting sequences are essential to capture action deliberately rather than by chance.

In sports photography I rely on high shutter speeds and long focal lengths to freeze fast movement with precision while still conveying the dynamics of the moment. The chosen perspective emphasises the scale of the scene, the speed of the athletes and the intensity of the situation. Light, wind and surroundings change constantly and place high demands on equipment, experience and responsiveness. These very factors make sports photography challenging and require constant awareness of the right moment.

Professional sports photography shows more than pure action. It conveys tension, energy and performance in the right context. Alongside classic action shots, wider compositions are created deliberately to show scale, environment and sporting challenge. In post production the focus is on clear contrast, natural colours and clean rendering of movement details without distorting the character of the moment.

A central focus of my sports photography is surf photography. Through in depth understanding of the sport, decisive moments can be anticipated with precision. Wave shapes, positioning in the line up, speed and manoeuvres are not coincidences but predictable processes. This knowledge enables images that not only look spectacular but reflect the sport authentically. Especially in coastal regions and surf oriented areas, this specialisation represents a clear added value.
